Keeping up with what's happening out there in the wizarding world is extremely important, no? The Daily Prophet is the newspaper to read if one wants to know what's happening around the neighborhood.

Many traditions are kept for over a millennium and no doubt do we intend to keep up with those time-honored habits. However, times has changed and the world continues to move forward no matter what. Freshen up your memory on facts and trivia in regards to the twenty-first century wizarding world.

The very first steps into Hogwarts Castle, officially, are taken here. Here where students wait in front of the Entrance Hall, here where students enter the Great Hall to see the night sky above their heads and eager returning students ready for the celebrations. Here is also where breakfast, lunch, and dinner will be served, including a couple of your classes. Quite an impression, no?

Up and down both students and professors go to reach their classes and offices for the day and night. Some come and go to dash towards their next class while others stroll to meet up with their club mates for another bout of card games or other activities. Some can come to admire the numerous awards and shiny armor that lines some of the corridors or, quite possibly, find a secret passage.

There are numerous towers that dot Hogwarts Castle, some of them have classes held in them while others are shut down from old age and kept out around more for decoration rather than use. A few of them have a rather interesting history, care to know about them?

The four quidditch teams at Hogwarts hold their practices, try-outs, and matches at Hogwarts own Quidditch pitch. Stand are erected from the ground, decorated in the colors of the four houses for spectators and supporters alike to cheer on for their team.

The Forbidden Forest teeters on the edge of Hogwarts grounds, filled with many secrets and magical creatures. As made obvious by its name, the forest grounds are off-limits to any students, except for cases of detention or lessons for Care of Magical Creatures. Be careful for who knows what one can find in here.

Hidden with in the heart of London is a cobblestoned wizarding alley known as Diagon Alley. It's practically the centre of wizarding London, constantly packed with people moving between businesses and shops. Most students of Hogwarts at least come to this busy alley prior to the beginning of a new school year.

Excuse me, but have you heard of Platform Nine and Three-Quarters? Hidden amongst the muggle crowds and trains is the entrance to the boarding platform of the Hogwarts Express in London. Students, with their carts full of a year's worth of luggage and supplies cart themselves right into a brick support.
