Rules
Level. This roleplay is meant for semi-literate to advance-literate roleplayers. We do not ask for a word minimum to be reached, but we expect that each post is written with enough quality and quantity for your partners to reply to without too much difficulty. Proper grammar, spelling, and syntax should be kept in mind.
Respect. Please be respectful to both admins and members of the forum. If there is an issue with any person within the forum, please inform an admin about it so it can be worked out together. Please do not bring in your personal drama into the chatbox and bring others down. We also do not allow any sort of hate speech or bigotry on this forum for any reason.
Godmodding/Powerplaying. Extreme cases of godmodding and/or powerplaying is frowned upon in most situations. However, there are some exceptions to this rule.
Liquid time. Feel free to have three different threads held at three different times. We're cool with that.
Timeline. This roleplay is considered as an alternate universe compared to the Harry Potter series, as there are different founders for the schools as well as the lack of a major wizarding war.
Rating. This forum is rated PG-13. Therefore, adult content is not allowed on the forum be they in posts, the chatbox, or private messages. Any moments of relating to sex will have to be fade-to-black. Swearing is also allowed in moderation.
Characters. We accept canons, nyo!talia, and original characters. We do not however, accept parallels or personifications of non-nation bodies. This includes states, cities, bodies of water, fictional locations, and various other items.
Face Claims/Play Bys. We ask that any face claims or play bys used for your original character be from an illustrated source. They can be from an anime, a manga, or even an original artwork so as long as the artist is credited. We do not accept real-life claims.
Starting Limit. Upon joining Aparecium for the first time, you are allowed to take up to three characters. If you wish to roleplay a fourth character when you would need to have ten in-character posts on each account. It's recommended that if you have three characters they're all in different groups. However, it's not necessary.
One Member to an Account. Each member gets to make their own OOC account. Just make sure to put in your signature the character(s) you roleplay.
One Character to an Account. For every character there is one account.
Activity Check. Activity checks happen monthly. Do please keep up with further announcements on when they start and end. If you are unable to keep up with being active for a moment of time, please leave a message within the HIATUS BOARD about your situation.

If you and your partner(s) have a very specific plan on how to handle a thread, that's great. Also in reference to the last point "reasonable" counts as if Character A asks to borrow a pen or piece of paper from Character B. There's no reason to end a post short while waiting for the other person to write out their character pulling out a piece of paper.
