history

[attr="class","profileboxscroll"] Drystan was born to Catrin Evans a Pure blood on December 18th after a one night stand with his father Elliot Kirkland. His mother's family is a minor Pure blood house, but is just as wealthy as an older one. Catrin would raise him until he was five years old during that time his mother would teach him a few things. Drystan had stated going to a muggle preschool when he was four and would keep going until his mother's death. During that time his mother would teach him a few things about magic and being a 'heir' since she was an only and child and her parents had been killed after she had, became a healer.

Catrin had been killed in a hit and ran accident while he was in school he was taken out of school that day. Drystan would stay in an orphanage until any family members could be found. He would be in there for the next two months still going to school while he waited. Halfway into the second month his other family was found his father had come and gotten him from the place taking him home to meet his brothers and sister as well as his step mother Loraine. His first meeting with them was OK though he didn't know what to think of them at first.

As he got to know them better he enjoyed his siblings but wasn't so sure but his step mother. Growing up with them he would avoid his stepmother after he saw how she was treating his other siblings he started avoiding her. He would stay either in his room or in the Kirkland family library learning all that he could along with what he could do about learning his duties since his mother was no longer alive. It was weird growing up like that but he got used to it over time avoiding his stepmother and getting to know his siblings better. As he got to know Peter and Arthur better he liked hanging out with them more than anything.

As the years went by until he would start Hogwarts though he would be starting his first year when his brother Arthur did since he had turned eleven after September first. He was excited to be finally going to Hogwarts glad that his mother had set up a trust vault for him so he had money glad with his key to his vault. Drystan went to Diagon Alley with his family after they had gotten their letters and got their things for their first year. When it was time to go and get his wand he was he was even more excited since he had been using his mother's wand (Blackthorn wood,Demiguise Hair Core, Hard,10 1/2") before he would get his own. It took several tries before he found his perfect wand which was made of Ebony wood with a Runespoor core 10 1/2" Hard and good for Defense.

Drystan would spend his time before he started Hogwarts reading his books while doing a couple of projects that he was also working on. When September first came around he was happy to finally be going to Hogwarts it was good since he was finally able to get away from his stepmother. Drystan had separated himself from his brother once they were on the train finding a empty compartment and went inside.
