Once, there was Ransei Region, separated from the rest of the Pokemon world, thriving on the turning gears of civil war. By chance, two Trainers from Sinnoh Region crash landed in Ransei on accident, but the two cultures were too starkly different. They couldn't understand one another, and soon enough, the misunderstandings and superstition on both sides led to the Sinnoh-Ransei War.
And when it was over, our world was devastated. Ransei is dying, though the government won't admit it. And our people are still at each other's necks over differences, superficial things. Those that still carry Ransei's ability to Link to Pokemon are called Psionics, and the United Federation, the new government, borne of Sinnoh's invasion force, managed to copy them, and even their ability to temporarily fuse with Pokemon, side-stepping the need for a Link by making it genetic and permanent in the Pokemorphs. They have to protect the Dome, you see. The giant bubble they built for humans to live in peace in, because it's not peaceful at all, rather the opposite. There are always crazed Krys-infected Pokemon, half-mad Outlanders driven to desperation by thirst and hunger, and let's not forget the Infernal and Imperial Clans, the true heroes, the real saviours of Ransei, that came together to help and protect the common people, and yet now are always at each other's throats. Those with no other alternative fight in the Holographic Gladiator Arena, or the HoloArena for short, just to put food on the table, Unregistered children that can't afford the sky-high registration fees occasionally are forced to fight other children to the death in the Ransei League, and somehow people make everything sound right and just.
The Federation think they can do as they please. And nobody can stop them. ... and they're right. Because nobody else is willing to stand up and say, "No." Everyone cries out for a hero, but nobody will be one.

Imperion is an original twist, post-apocalyptic Pokemon RP, set in Ransei post the collision of Sinnoh and Ransei culture that led to a catastrophic war. While Sinnoh won, it was at great cost, and now they work to keep Ransei's remaining natives from rebelling. Will you side with the United Federation, and keep the Dome in line? Or perhaps you are with an Outlander Clan, working to protect the commoners outside of the Dome, and watching the region die? Or maybe you're just an Outlander, out for yourself and nobody else? Choose your path.
