yeah. uvu considering that Iain has been teaching Peter since the day the lil guy arrived to Hogwarts. Not to mention, Iain might have tried to help Peter not think of Gryffindor so negatively in the beginning?

I mean, there's a lot of parallels surprisingly. like how Peter tried in his first and probably second years to prove to his mother that he isn't a lost cause, Iain spent a couple of years trying to idk try to remedy his family's expectations by keeping up with his academics (until he's like 'fuck it').

So, both Amelia and Peter are on the Gryffindor Quidditch team. She's also a year older than him, so they're fairly close in age. I think these two would definitely be on good terms at the very least, and I could easily see them being friends as well. What do you think?

Friends and team mates, of course! The best team is one that gets along and works together in harmony! This works well, Quidditch would be a good way for him to open up to her. He'd have a much easier time with someone he knows he has a common ground with.

So I have Al instead of Amelia. Should we keep the general same plot though since I see Alfred and Peter getting along fairly similar to the way Amelia and Peter would?
