So they've definitely met before then at some sort of family function, but haven't really gotten to know one another all that well. The tournament sounds like a good opportunity to do such.

Ion is probably easiest to approach in their house dorm after classes, or in the great hall as long as it isn't breakfast. He takes a while to wake up in the morning. Finding him running around the black lake is also likely an option, he does lots of running.

I've been meaning to post here for a while, I think Ellie and Maddie might know each other at the very least, perhaps friendly acquaintances or even friends? They're both in Lierre which is a pretty friendly house in general, although Eleanor's a little bit older (and she's the team's seeker so she might be known from that? I'm not sure) plus they're both from non-European countries that still have French heritage so I'm sure that they might've had the opportunity to bond over that at some point? And even if they haven't I suppose this year would be as good a year as any to get to know each other, right? There's probably a wide range of possibilities.

Being in the same house opens things up for being friends definitely, especially in Lierre as it's deff a friendly house. Yesss, this is also a good year for getting to know one another. Still, I think they would already be on friendly terms at the very least. Do we want to get some sort of thread going for them?

I definitely agree with the whole being on friendly terms with each other thing, given their personalities, the house they're in and the like I think it makes the most sense. I'd love to get a thread going! Do you have a preference for time frame (pre-tournament or about tournament time, that sort of thing)? Would you like me to write the starter?

I don't have a preference, but possibly tournament time would be good? They could be exploring hogwarts together. Yes please start if you could!

So it's been a while since I was active, and thought I'd pop in and let you know that if you're cool, we can continue our current thread or start another, depending on what you feel is best! Just making sure, since we haven't worked on the one we've had for a while, and I know some ppl are more comfortable with moving on from old threads after a while!

If you'd like to keep going, I'm all good! I'm just not sure what's a good way of doing so -- where do you think this thread would end for Ion and Liang, appropriately? Got any ideas in mind?

At this point they're kind of running out of things to talk about and he did say he'd let Ion get back to his run in just a minute pff. I mean we could do a post or two where they decide to go their separate ways, but eh could just say that happened and have them meet up another day in the dorms??
