This is probably the most noticeable trait of his as there are so many traits of his that will get him into trouble: his humor, his excitable nature, and his stubbornness. Though he means well, there is always something he manages to stick his nose into that will inevitably drag him into an event he will likely need help getting back out of. It’s a good thing he has the friends he has… He might not be alive if it weren’t for them.
Now, that isn’t to say he’s seeking it out. Abel always means well. He has a good, kind nature about him despite his “scary” appearance. His height and his rash nature often make him seem wild and unpredictable- and though that isn’t wrong- he truly does mean well in all that he does. He likes to hep others, though he can often seem… Well…
Bossy. He can be bossy, controlling, demanding, and almost narcissistic. He likes to believe himself a powerful wizard without equal, and there are things he is willing to go through to see to that. Abel can be extremely off-putting when this side comes out and it usually takes someone who knows the deeper parts of him to stick around. He works hard, he drinks hard, and he plays hard. He’s a bit overwhelming, especially for those who are faint of heart.
Perhaps the only thing making him more tolerable is his almost constant cheery demeanor. Despite negativity, rude comments, and accusations he is almost always smiling and either blatantly ignoring or just completely oblivious to those nasty words.
Abel is also fiercly loyal to his friends and will do almost anything for them. When you find yourself in a stressful or dangerous situation then it may be best to head to Abel. He will do all that is in his power to defend those under his care, even at the cost of his own life… Which, of course, would never happen.
He’s the greatest wizard to ever live after all.
