Gilbert Beilschmidt Lovi would definitely know of Gilbert, given they were both in Slytherin and if Gilbert was close with Feli, Lovi would've definitely kept an eye on him. Lovi on average is usually "nicer" to people in his house than the other houses, but with both Beilschmidts showing interest in his little bro...Lovi would've kept close. Especially with Gilbert's reputation as a trouble-maker |D Lovi would've probably warmed up to Gil eventually, if Gil hadn't been sent away, so I'm not sure what kind of relationship they'd have other than Lovi watching Gil suspiciously to make sure he wasn't going to turn any of his pranks on Feli or get Feli into trouble. Thoughts?

Hmm...Gil would have overlapped with Lovi for about 2 years I think? I could see them as having started to warm up to each other (or well...Lovi to Gil), but probably not too much more beyond that. I think that once Gil returned to Hogwarts, he'd be happy to catch up with Lovi as well. Probably chase him down in the hallway to grab a butterbeer or something.

Yeah, your bio has Gil being sent to Durmstrang in his 4th year, and Lovi is Lud's age, a year younger than Gil, so that'd be 2 years? COnsidering Lovi's antisocial tendencies, especially in his first year since he was pretty surly about going to Hogwarts in the first place, they would've only had a year at most for Lovi to stop being a Grumpy Gus to Gil, and like 4 years of Lovi to forget Gil existed to cement his "I don't want friends" mentality |D; so Gil will definitely face a bit of resistance if he wants to drag Lovi off for socialization looool. I hope he still tries, tho! Do you want to have a thread for the two of them set a little after the Great Hall Event, since Gil'll probably be distracted trying to catch up with Lud and Feli?

I'm terrible at replying to this I'm so sorry orz. But yeah that works! I'm sure they're not really quite friends, but Gil might be trying to catch up with everyone and see Lovi and go "why not" and proceed to drag him everywhere for the day.

Hej! I was wondering if Gilbert would take Birgitta under his wing, per say, since she is not exactly as knowledgable about the Magical World as she should. Doesn't help that she was raised in the Muggle World only, and her Father being a Pureblood got her into Durmstrang. I hope that with Birgitta's quiet nature but kind of strong physical presence might be something that draws Gilbert in. Plus, she does have a pranking streak that is unexpected from her.

Birgitta Oxenstierna Hmm, Gilbert doesn't mind lending a hand. He rather enjoys playing the mentor role...though he might not necessarily guide Birgitta on the most "typical" path as a Durmstrang student. Gil doesn't mind approaching underclassmen and if Birgitta piques his curiosity enough, he's not against taking her on as a sort of pet project (especially for pranks, but other things as well). Be warned: he is a bit of a flirt, and he is loathe to admit how much effort he puts into his schoolwork, so I'm not sure Birgitta would be the kind of person to seek Gilbert out in that kind of way.

I think, irregardless if Birgitta goes to Gilbert for Work or not, her unique ways of pranking is a little different from the Magical form. Especially since her form of pranking is heavily leaning more towards muggle style. I could see that he might stumble across seeing her prep a prank for maybe a bully, or something similar, and looks a little confused as to what she is using? I think if Gil did flirt with her, she'd give him the most blank look in the world. She is not used to doing anything flirty, so someone actually paying her that attention, in that way, would cause her to pull back in surprise and confusion. But I can kind of see that her creativity in pranking, and since there's no magic generally to her version, could grab Gilbert's attention. I like the idea of her odd behaviours might pull some curiousity her way.

Hmm, Gilbert's not super familiar with Muggle pranking given that he is a pureblood and all, though he did have some time in Hogwarts around Muggleborns. It's possible if he stumbled along her planning a prank of some sort he'd be curious...though it would have to be obvious that she wasn't using magic at all.
