Step aside ladies and gentleman, for a true lady of refinement finally arrives to the dank walls of Hogwarts! She is Miss Felix Felicis, Miss Seer, Miss Captain of the Broom Racing team, and -- quite proudly -- a Beauxbatons lady. She might be small in statue, but don't never think of underestimating her.[break][break]
Many people would not expect much of her based on her appearances. Aside from a the occasional smile and haughty laugh, most see Christyna as a studious young girl who often keeps to herself save for her circle of friends. They watch her from the distance and find her preoccupied with too many things that girls her age often think about: what's the latest news around the block, what are the current trends in muggle fashion today, how's the environment doing, if current euro-galleon exchange rates are good, if the population of bluefin tuna is improving or not. These are extremely pressing concerns, and therefore a few might feel somewhat intimidated to even approach her when she gets caught up with these sorts of thoughts.[break][break]
Of course, she's openly sociable to most people who do eventually find enough courage within themselves to approach. She is the face of politeness while also being the key player in breaking any existing ice. Sure it's in her nature to be friendly and outgoing towards other people, but knowing a little more people, to know a little more things about what's happening around her, doesn't hurt. Information is always important, whether it be about the words from the grapevine or tidbits about people themselves. She loves to be in the know.[break][break]
As said before, Christyna is known as Lady Luck herself -- "Miss Felix Felicis" as students have gotten to call her. She was born lucky as some would say (her mother must have accidently drank some felix felicis right before her birth) and others claim that her ability to see into the future itself created her rather good fortune. After all if one would know the future, would they not plan for the best outcome? Two parts skill, one part luck, and one part deliberation and planning, she's an extremely confident young lady with a high self-esteem for her abilities, even if that self-esteem bleeds into vainness. Unlike the few seers that exist within the wizarding world, her optimism is never dampened by the knowledge of the unavoidable happening. What she sees in the future might not always be the best and happiest of predictions or prophesies, but she wouldn't let that get to her. She does believe that things will right itself out eventually. If misfortune is inevitable, why can't fortune be as well?[break][break]
Oh, she might look like proper little lady but she'll make sure to enjoy herself as well. She will definitely make passing compliments that's border-line on flirting. She appreciates and enjoys seeing and watching all things beautiful and isn't afraid to be verbal about it. Not to mention, what's a little fun without a bit of risk? A little bit of betting -- gambling -- here and there on the outcomes of things she quite doesn't know about or an adrenaline rushing race in the skies are the activities she does on the near daily. Is it considered as recklessness? To an extent yes, but she knows her the limits of her capabilities, most of the time.[break][break]
Christyna swamps herself with work even if she might not be so aware of its sheer amount. As said before, she has many, many things that preoccupies her mind, and at times she might even take more work than she could even handle. Even with a time turner, she would still find herself thinking that there isn't enough time to complete an essay while fitting in her extracurricular activities as well as muggle-based classes. She could get very curt with others when the pressure would finally start getting to her and even pass off as standoffish if one would catch her in these rare, but definitely possible occurrences. In fact, she would rather decline any sort of offered help and sort out everything on her pallet herself. She was never the kind of woman to ask for help.[break][break]
Her stubbornness could have been attributed to how she always made herself to be more mature. Being a small lady invites people to offer their help all too often when faced against a challenge of height. It's a little innocent sign of helping, but she can't help but feel that she's belittled a tad bit by it. She's independent -- or at least she wants to be. She was linked maturity with self-dependency and feels the need to present herself in such a way that she is the face of such. She keeps her hair long and braided because she believes it makes her look like a duchess. She speaks in such a manner that could be seen as formal, a little old fashioned.[break][break]
She might be a small lady, but don't think any less of her.

history
[attr="class","profileboxscroll"]
Rumor has it that Christyna is some distant relative to some royal muggle family that still exists today. They are, in fact, rumors but it's not as if she would deny or even prove such claims. She herself isn't sure if it's true or not, unaware of just how far the family tree goes, but there's one thing for that she does know about:[break][break]
She is the single child between the wizard Léonard "Martin" Favreau and the muggle Irène Favreau née Delacroix. Her mother did not speak much about the muggle family she grew up with for she was too enamored by the new world that her husband introduced her to. That was always how her mother was, in love with the unordinary, the extraordinary. This does not mean that the young Christyna was left with no experience of what the muggle world is however. While there is a wizarding community within the city-state, it was neigh impossible to live in such a place without a good amount of proper exposure. If her mother was fascinated by what the wizarding world had to offer, then her daughter was certainly starry eyed over what the muggles could do. She grew up impressed by how the two communities she was involved in could do to make up for a lack of solution the other had. Muggles have a megaphone and wizards have a voice amplification spell; they have cars and in turn, brooms still remain to be one of the main means of transportation.[break][break]
Though unlike a couple of other halfblood families, her's decided to not enroll Christyna into nursery school or primary education. Already entrusting that the wizarding institution in their region, Beauxbatons, would cover the muggle-based education, they left to tutoring their daughter themselves. While Christyna would indeed to spend her time with other wizarding families who had children when both of her parents needed to work, in the evenings her father would teach her the basics of what magic could do and her mother would cover simple math and reading. This left the young girl with plenty of free time during the day and not enough people to start recognizing her budding signs of magic -- her Inner Eye. There was nothing major at first: no real sort of prophecies that made her absolutely zone out and speak in a different voice. Sometimes the girl simply know how the day would play out or its weather. Sometimes, she just knew the outcomes of certain decisions and bets made by those around her.[break][break]
She was a young girl, she didn't think too much on the things she said and the actions that came later. Little Christyna was too focused on the things she enjoyed and what was within her scope of understanding: having tea parties and exploring around the city.[break][break]
She would live in a comfortable environment, with her family and friends at arm reach but even she would need to grow up. Curiosity became a proper thirst for knowledge and self-consciousness made her clean up her appearance. She aimed for regality and therefore dress and look in such a way. She, as much as she loved to spend her days walking with the people of Monaco with her friends, started preferring to read a bit more, study a bit longer since school -- her father explained it to her as Beauxbatons -- was coming sooner. She still kept her very optimistic disposition: she knew that her hard work will pay off. How? Even she wasn't sure, but she simply just believed that there would be a reward at the end of her studies.[break][break]
That was what she believed in with all her heart, understanding her powers better now that she was on the edge of finally attending this mythical place she had only heard her father talk about. She saw into the future, yes, but despite all the possible misfortunes, there must be a good reason as to why seers exist. There must be good at the end of bad luck.[break][break]
Then, the time would come, where she along with a couple of other children her age, would be taken the the hidden castle within the French mountain range.[break][break]
She could remember it well, the anticipation of watching the other young children before her, reaching into the fountain to learn of their new home, there they were destined to be. She didn't want to know what she would be sorted into, trying to not think about who would be her new home and friends. Uncertainy here brought anticipation, suspension, and excitement.[break][break]
She dipped the tips of her fingers to the water, and waited. She listened for a voice, listing her traits, her qualities. Why, her passion and constant optimisism almost suited her better in Rosier. She, despite how friendly she would seem to others, always cherished the ones that she did get to spend time with. However, there was an underlying facet about her, that made the voice thought there was an even better House suited for her. The water turned to a shade of violet to reveal where she would stay for the next years of her youth. The House of Belladone -- nightshade. A toxic plant knwon to be used by beautiful women... It was Christyna's planning and careful deliberation in many of her actions that made the the fountain decide where she would be most comfortable in.[break][break]
Christyna kept herself busy throughout her time at Beauxbatons. She found her love for all things muggle (especially fashion) renewed once she learned of the classes and excursions out into the muggle community. What a unique decision that the school's administration decided to make! Never did she recall ever reading any other school doing such thing! She was allowed to explore more than what was just Monaco and France, as the students of Beauxbatons covered nearly the whole of Central Europe.[break][break]
Chirstyna also discovered a sport that made her blood rush as the wind whipped around her. It started as a small club, a handful of students that prefered to race rather than playing Quidditch. Her passion of excelling in anything she would put her hands on, as excitement, kept her in the club as an extremely active member. From a simple prospective student to eventual captain of the Broom Racing Team, she strived to eagerly promote the sport and increase its membership by the time she was in her fourth year.[break][break]
While she did well in a lot of her core subjects, Chirstyna shined the most when she was in Divination. It was natural for a seer such as herself to excel at spells and incantations that also hinted towards the future. While never did she get a clear picture of what might happen compared to the visions she could see, the Monégasque started to understand and piece together more abstract signs. The arrangement of leaves within a teacup, to the movement of the planet and stars above her, and the observation of flames -- these might not look much to the un-trained and to the skeptical of the art, but she could see even clearer.[break][break]
Though, if she might be honest, she has no interest in herbology whatsoever. She was never the kind of lady that liked digging around with dirt.[break][break]
With a growing number of achievements and accomplishments, Christyna had begun to build her reputation, to shape it the way that she would want to be seen. Now, the only thing she needed to do was to preserve the work she had done so far.

One lap -- which was most likely around fifty-four seconds. She considered it as a new personal record, but she could do better: about one point eight seconds better.[break][break]
She pulled herself back to the starting line, waiting for the results of her round to be announced. It was another day of practice, in a smaller field since Quidditch was the more popular sport. But she never felt disdain for that. She was proud of the amount of people she had managed to pull into the team, no matter how small or obscure the sport might have been compared to, what she thought was the wizard's equivalent of football.[break][break]
Her end goal for all this practice was the annual race in Sweden, where spectators from around the world compete and watch as witches and wizards race through the skies for about seven hundred kilometers. She remembered reading that the track went through a dragon reservation, and the mere thought of it sounded too exciting. As a student, she could not join, but all the practice done during the school years should amount to something when she finally can.[break][break]
A mild frown found its way onto her visage, because she remembered that she was to be heading to the British school, Hogwarts, with the other classmates in her year. The worse that could happen was that she wouldn't find the time to practice.[break][break]
And on her last year too.[break][break]
The thought of attending another school for nearly a whole year was interesting, but the Seer had lingering thoughts if Hogwarts was a good enough accommodation for her or the purpose of the trip if she wasn't selected as Champion. Aside from supporting and rooting for one's school, what else could a student do? Christyna couldn't imagine that everyone was to spend a year slacking off on their education, and from what she had read, Hogwart's and Beauxbatons' curriculum was surely different--[break][break]
"...tain, Christyna, did you hear me?"[break][break]
A question interrupts her from her heavy thoughts, and the small lady blinked towards the student whom addressed her.
"Were you zoning off again? Seeing something into the future?" The girl jested with a smile of her own, knowing full well of the reputation that her captain had in the school.
"No, not at all," Christyna answered, before lowering herself onto the ground and dismounting her broom, "I was just thinking about the Triwizard Tournament, that's all."
"Oh ho, are you going to try to divine who gets to be Beauxbatons' Champion?" The time keeper asked playfully, following her captain to the ground.
"Some things are better not knowing." She then left it at that, preferring to focus her attention on the other members for drills and laps.[break][break]
She could go ahead and try to look into a cup of leaves or drop a couple of twigs, but where would the fun be if she knew the outcome of a tournament that she had a chance to be a part in?
