Bella is a very kind and sweet girl, and is quick to make friends with just about anyone she comes across. She's not very self-conscious, either, which makes it much easier for her to approach pretty much anyone. Her assignment to House Lierre was spot-on, considering she almost always chooses to be kind, and will go out of her way to cheer a friend up. She's also very forgiving, and will often give people second, third, and even fourth chances to be her friend, granted they don't do anything to severely hurt her.
She's inherited her Veela mother's good looks, but luckily, hasn't inherited quite the temper. Bella is very slow to anger, and is more likely to end up being sad, or upset, rather than angry. Luckily, she isn't a full Veela, because her anger is quite scary enough without. Although her rage never lasts very long before turning into something else, she is known to yell at people and be particularly rude when she is angered.
Still, though, having Veela blood could be the cause of her over-emoting. She cries when she's upset, when she's tired, sometimes even when she's hungry, and she cries easily. Whenever she has a feeling, it's a big feeling. She's rarely quiet about how she feels.
Bella could be called a chatterbox. She talks, and talks, and talks. To pretty much anyone, about anything. Some people probably find it annoying, but she's never bored, so she sees it as a plus. If her mouth isn't moving, it's probably munching. She loves to eat food, and could be considered a little bit of a glutton, but she sees food as one of life's pleasures.
Although she's not a genius, Bella does well in most all of her classes, except for, perhaps, Defence Against the Dark Arts. She gets bored all too easily in that class, which isn't very good, considering she plans to put her name in the Goblet of Fire. However, she is very good at Divination and Charms. Her natural talent in the classes, combined with the craftsmanship of her wand, makes her performance in those classes even better.
She's quite lazy when it comes to muggle sports, what with all the running around and physical labor, but she loves to play Quidditch. It's more enjoyable to ride around on a broomstick than to use the power of your own two legs, in her book. She's not amazing at Quidditch, but she is an alright Seeker.
She's also quite imaginative. Although she does occasionally have a few controversial thoughts, like a house elf fashion line, normally her dreamings are just seen as strange, like synchronized broom flying. Considering she has lots of creativity, she's very good at coming up with thoughtful gifts for her friends, which makes her friend of the year, in her book.
Her wand, made of Applewood, with one of her mother's hairs as the core, gives a good idea of what she is like. She's very sociable and friendly, and as such, most people don't mind her. Although her wand core is made of Veela hair, she isn't all that temperamental, except for the rare occasion. In fact, the wandmaker who ended up making her wand originally thought that fairy wings would make a better core for her, but later decided after she tested one that a Veela hair might work better for her. And, after it was made, it was found that it did work better, and she's used that wand since.

[attr="class","profileboxscroll"]
The Vargas family. Known far and wide in the Wizarding world for their power in Italy and their relation to Romulus, one of the four founders of Hogwarts. The Vargas family has a long and wide family tree, with many, many little branches and twigs. Bella is just one of those twigs, on a tiny little branch. Bella's grandmother, a Vargas, married the eldest son of the Patriarch of the De Fiore family. She had three sons, Bella's father being the youngest, and therefore, the most unrestricted, which is how he was able to marry Bella's Veela mother.
Being that her father was a child of the De Fiores, Bella and her family wanted for nothing, and lived in a rather large estate in Tuscany, complete with a vineyard and a cute little dog. With all the money her parents had, Bella lived in the lap of luxury. Designer clothing and expensive food was normal for Bella. So was private lessons and not having many friends. She knew nothing different.
Even though she would sometimes get bored with her extravagant lifestyle, Bella never got bored of magic. Although her father was out a good deal of the time on family business, her mother was almost always around, and had no qualms in casting charms or transfiguring household items for Bella to see. Of course, Bella wanted badly to be able to do magic, but she wasn't able.
That is, until one day when she was assigned the very important task of helping her mother rearrange their home décor. Her mother had received a package with a number of sentimental(and fragile) items from her grandmother, and after the box was opened, she was tasked with carrying a large vase into the living room, which she did pretty well, until she reached the threshold and accidentally tripped. Bella let go of the vase by accident, and fell. When she hit the floor, she shut her eyes, but didn't hear a smash. She opened her eyes, and found that the vase was floating above her. She was too focused on her duty to be shocked, and took the vase in her hands and put it down in the dining room. Afterwards, she was very excited, though.
Although her mother prohibited her from practicing magic, Bella would often sneak off to the library at night-time and read books. Although she didn't have a wand, Bella was diligent in her practicing of spells, and eventually was able to cast a weak Lumos.
A few years went by, and Bella turned eleven, the special age for young wizards and witches where it was time to go to a wizarding school. Her parents didn't argue about where she was to go, and chose the closest school, which was Beauxbatons, both her parents' alma mater, in France. Although Bella was sweet, her mother and father worried about her emotional stability, and figured that being closer to home would be better for Bella.
So, Bella went to Beauxbatons, and was sorted into Lierre, a house that hit the nail on the head for compatibility with her personality. Being in the same house as a bunch of very friendly people made it easy for Bella to fit in and find her place. However, she also found that there were plenty of people who wouldn't be nearly as nice. Bella was given a sharp awakening to how the Wizarding world saw half-breeds when she overheard a few Belladone students chatting away about how half-breeds were lesser than. Feeling quite uncomfortable, Bella repressed the urge to speak up, and started feeling a bit uncomfortable with her lineage. Having friends in Lierre worked wonders, though. After Bella repressed her negative emotions for too long, she had a meltdown, and her friends were right there with her to make sure she was alright. After lots of pep-talking, Bella's discomfort became more of just a sensitive spot.
Aside from that, Bella found her time at Beauxbatons to be enjoyable and fun. She easily made friends with most everyone she came across(especially boys) and did well in most of her classes, except for Defence Against the Dark Arts, which she was just okay at.
When Bella's 7th year at Beauxbatons started, she was still quite on the fence about what she wanted to do with her life. Her ideas changed all the time, and she couldn't stick with one for more than a month or two. Her parents didn't force her to make any decisions, either, which didn't help. When she heard about the Triwizard Tournament, she was more than excited. The chance to travel, meet new people and win money was promising, and it was enough for her to decide to try and compete. And, if not anything else, it would be an interesting year.

It was night. A full moon.
A thick canopy of leaves obscured what would be a large beam of moonlight to illuminate Bella’s path, leaving only small beams of light to give her the indication of where to go, as she walked quietly, carefully, through the forest.
Shortly before, Bella had woken up in the thick brush that was Nachtwald, unaware of where she was. It didn’t take her long to realize she was not at the Orphanage, and that what she felt underneath her was grass. She had to stifle a scream, and try her best to calm herself down, before she could get back to the village.
Which is what she was looking for at the moment.
The moonlight wasn’t doing much help as she walked, and though she thought she saw a light at one point, she quickly registered it as a hallucination, a trick of Nachtwald. So, she continued her fearful search for the village.
It went nowhere.
But she continued to walk, and walk, and walk, until she stepped on a particularly loud branch. She let out a scream, but quickly covered her mouth and wrapped her arms around her shoulders, letting out quick breaths as she tried to calm herself down yet again.
Her scream did not go unnoticed, though.
As she continued her trek through Nachtwald, she started to hear heavier footsteps behind her. Someone else’s breathing. She could feel her heart in her throat, but she continued to walk, hoping that maybe she would find the village before anything evil could get to her, but she tripped over a tree root, and fell to the ground.
Almost immediately, the creature following her sprinted to catch up, and Bella took no time in scrambling up and breaking into a sprint as well.
She ran, and ran, and ran, as fast as she could, for as long as she could, until she heard the footsteps die down, and eventually, stop. She was alone.
And, she was coming upon the village, now, as well. She could see the dim light of lamps on the street. She knew she was safe, now, so she stopped to catch her breath.
When she turned to look behind her, she saw that nothing was there. When she turned to look to her sides, nothing was there. When she turned back around, there was a werewolf.
She let out a loud scream, and it quickly grabbed her—
Bella sat up quickly when she woke from her nightmare, her breath heavy as she held a hand to her chest. She looked around.
She was in her room.
The young woman let out a sigh, before lighting her lamp and resting her face in her hands.
