[attr="class","profileboxscroll"]Vash's younger (but only by a few minutes!) twin sister, Lili acts almost like a foil to his rougher personality. True to her namesake she not unlike a flower, colorful in personality and one who seeks to brighten the smiles of others. Not surprisingly the two are close having been together for even longer than infancy, and yet for all this she has developed into a young woman who can separate herself from their duo despite her attachment to him. That is simply how most twins are, and they are no exception.
Lili likes to talk, but even more than this she loves to listen. She is a voracious consumer of stories both fiction and non, and enjoys being told them more than tell them. The magic of muggle fairy tales is far too real for them to hold the same amount of wonder for her than they might a child from another family, but nonetheless she will devour the words and revisit them often. She will shamelessly admit her attraction to such fantasies, their tales of valor and romance far removed from the life she considers mundane by comparison. It was not uncommon for Lili in her youth to imagine herself being a princess in a far off land, tall garden rocks as her imprisoning tower, the family dog being a terrible beast that guarded her. She does not quite fancy herself the maiden of her younger years, but she nonetheless awaits that charming prince to sweep her off her feet. What young lady doesn't dream of that?
She is a member of House Lierre at Beauxbatons, a group known for their exceptionally personable natures. Lili is a prominent example of their core qualities, being driven by her kindness and love for others. To be disliked by Lili means that one will have committed some heinous transgression that not even she can forgive, which more often than not corresponds to a insult flung towards her family or her friends. She reserves her judgment, willing to give second and third chances when perhaps they are not deserved. Her belief in the good of other people is a naive notion she has been berated for, but she cannot shake off what is so deeply embedded in herself. It would be far safer for her to be wary, but Lili cannot be cautious of everyone she meets.
To be frightened of the world means to fail at living, and there are few who embrace life as vibrantly as she does. She appreciates the world as much as she appreciates its people, holding a deep affection for nature and all that live within it. There is scarcely an animal that she does not like - or can't find in her heart to tolerate - meaning she has little fear of even the creepiest of crawlies. Her fascination for insects and spiders began at a young age, when the young Lili would invite creatures to crawl upon her out of some fascination. She will invite all manner of creatures to dwell in and around her plants, and she adores those plants as much as she adores animals. It is no surprise that her strongest subject is herbology, for she treats her plants with a gentle and delicate hand that befits something living.
She treasures honesty as much as she treasures kindness. Even if she has committed some kind of wrong, Lili feels far more guilty lying than she does owning up to her mistakes or her poor choices. It does not help that when she attempts to lie, it is very easy to see through her words. The most unfortunate fact of her tendencies to forgive and trust mean that ultimately taking advantage of what she offers is a simple matter. Though generous, she does understand that when things start to feel wrong or uncomfortable, then she's in a situation that needs immediate rectifying. Lili is far more capable than she might appear, and she knows she must still take care of herself when others cannot. At this point one needs to be away from her quickly. Lili doesn't like it when people misuse her kindness and she will not be complicit in things that are of an amoral nature. Trusting she is - stupid she is not, and she can see through evil. She cannot be forced to do anything she does not want, and her family can be assured of that.
Supposing she is pulled out of bad situation by someone she trusts more - her sibling, her cousins, or perhaps her parents - to step into these dangerous territories means to risk earning the ire of a prominent dueling family, most of whom are skilled in combat despite their unassuming appearances. Perhaps it is the allure of this risk that draws out the bad. It would be like stepping through a forest of thorns, and there are many people who would step in to defend her if she cannot - and it must be known that Lili is quite the talented witch.
Indeed, for though small in stature and ultimately a gentle individual, she is none of this when she duels. Inspired by the skill and achievement of her mother, Lili and her brother both have followed in her footsteps. Lili has no intentions to make dueling a career, but for now she enjoys the adventure and competition, envisioning herself as some warrior princess fighting for freedom against a foe. She abhors violence, but all students who duel come together to fling spells at each other for fun, and she has to admit there's a certain kind of challenge to it that makes it intense and difficult to give up.
In terms of ability she is always in competition with her brother, but not so much everyone else. She will duel for fun, but she'll also duel to improve herself. The twins are almost equal in their capabilities, making every attempt to climb that ladder an interesting challenge. Being apart has allowed the two of them to develop independently of each other, making their reunions after every school year a test of all they'd accumulated. Lili trains herself vigorously for these eventual challenges and they are part of what drives her studies.
It would thus be strange to note that this flower has quite a streak of mischievousness. At the end of the day, so long as nobody gets hurt, what harm can there be in the very slightly unscrupulous? She dislikes harming anyone with her antics, but the people who know her - and the people she knows - find themselves at some point or another at the receiving end of what she likes to call 'affectionate teasing,' poking meant to show her love. She will, of course, avoid sensitive subjects and feels most comfortable playing jokes on her brother, but her exuberant personality is energized by the laughter of others, thus she does not wish to harm with what she intends as good-natured. She is cautious in her handling of others, and a step in the wrong direction warrant immediate apologies.
Lili's very being may be summed up by her wand, carved of pear with a fairy wing core. The wood is tinted golden, smooth and unblemished despite several years of strenuous use in her dueling club. Belonging in the hands of the warm-hearted and generous, it serves as a reminder to Lili that she can still give of herself while being fulfilled. A smile is just as rewarding as words and coin, and rarely will be raise her hand or voice against another. Its pliant nature makes it as enthusiastic as she is, and together both wand and witch step forward into the coming era. They are matched stupendously, two close companions that seek to be the best they can be while not once stepping from the path that makes them them. The wandmaker that matched them should be proud, for few wands find such perfect soulmates.

[attr="class","profileboxscroll"]Lili and her brother Vash were born in Vaduz in Liechtenstein to very Swiss parents, but spent most of their earliest years in Switzerland in the Swiss-German city of Zürich. Since childhood the two had been close, both completing and competing with each other for as long as they could remember. Though they loved each other dearly and could scarcely imagine being apart, they would eventually come to learn that the ease of childhood would not last forever. Sooner or later the comfort of their friendship would be challenged by age. Her earliest memories of the two of them were spent at play, challenging each other to 'duels' and using ribbons and glitter to simulate spells they made up in combat.
Maria and Oliver Zwingli, their parents, could not be prouder. Oliver worked as an Auror for the rather small Swiss Ministry, and their mother Maria still competed as a duelist when events were held, eventually inspiring her children to emulate her as they grew up. The proclivity for dueling runs in Maria's family, so when the twins showed interest it was no surprise. Through Maria Lili and Vash would come to befriend and spent some time with their distant cousins Marianne and Roderich Edelstein, and together the four of them would grow into a relatively friendly bunch.
Lili's childhood was otherwise uneventful. She would do well in her studies and perform to the best of her ability out of a competitive need to outdo her twin, who likewise would challenge her with his own respectable capability leaving the two at odds with a friendly and healthy rivalry. This would come to have a positive effect on her work ethic. We are, however, getting a little ahead of ourselves here. Lili's first true manifestations of her magic would happen just before she turned ten, but they were subtle enough for her to miss them. Foreshadowing her later interest in herbology, Lili's plants would eventually begin responding to her magic, resulting in shoots that would grow overnight.
Like their parents before them, both Lili and Vash were planned to attend Beaxubatons Academy of Magic, a large and respectable school with a reputation for churning out fantastic witches and wizards. Somewhere along the way, though, with the twins preparing to attend together, a falling out between the cousins occurred. Lili must not have been present for what eventually led into the conflict, or maybe it was so subtle she could never noticed what was inevitable. The bottom line is that eventually Roderich and Vash would stop talking to each other, and the offense was so great that Vash would go to Durmstrang instead.
She was not the wounded party and took to bonding with Roderich as a means to fill the void made by her brother leaving, but Vash's going to Durmstrang would be the best thing that could have happened to her. She waited a year to attend, but when Vash came home at the year's end and spoke of what he'd been learning, Lili couldn't wait to get started. With her new education looming overhead, Lili went with her parents to Zürich's hidden magical streets and prepared herself with her books and her wand. The next school year would see her leave for Beauxbatons and sorted into House Lierre - more fitting than anything she might have found at Durmstrang. She wouldn't be alone, as it turned out Roderich ended up at Beauxbatons as well - though both of them seemed to have lost their sibling.
She joined their dueling club as soon as she was able. It felt exciting to finally be able to learn their mother's profession. To her surprise Roderich would join as well, giving the two of them to chance to speak beyond the occasional visits they had growing up. Lili's comfortable education would be punctuated by visits home, blooming into her rivalry with her brother. The two had different learning styles and focused on different things - but both ended up duelists. It is no surprise that Lili, having grown into her own and being used to his absence, ended quite a bit stronger than he anticipated.
If anything this would spur the two onward to study even harder and when her sixth year finally came and it was revealed that the Triwizard Tournament was going to be taking place at far-off Hogwarts, Lili jumped on the opportunity. What better way to challenge herself than to competing in one of the most harsh and strenuous ordeals possible?

[attr="class","profileboxscroll"]The comfortable carriage was bigger on the inside than it was on the outside, affording the students within the benefit of private spaces. Settling herself by a window in the compartment she chose for herself, Lili stayed outside the small window in the carriage's casing that kept the chilled atmosphere outside. It was not smart of her to do this, for even though the enchanted carriage had in place many charms to rid it of the uncomfortable feelings of turbulence and fluctuating g-forces, the fact that the world outside the window shook so terribly was disorienting. She'd been in the air plenty of times, but on a broomstick that felt more secure. Here, it felt as though the harsh jerking of chain would eventually tear the carriage from its winged horses to plummet to the ground below.
Finally unable to take it no longer, she quit the compartment to sit outside in the carriage's 'common area,' lined with seats and pillows for the comfort of students who wish to converse over the course of the trip, which would take several hours at the very least. Muggles had an advantage in their flying technology: at least it was faster than these horses. Far from windows sitting out on the pillows was a better experience. Lili listened to the chattering of her companions, occasionally chiming in when addressed. to finally be on their way was an exciting prospect. Many of the Beaxubatons students had traveled before, but to be going to another school was something few had endured.
"I've never been - it's a castle, right?"
"Yes! I wonder how it compares to our school."
"I hope it's as lovely as home... it would be a shame for a castle to not be beautiful."
"We'll see for ourselves, soon!" A fourth student, one who stepped out of his compartment just in time to heard the conversation, saw the dark castle from a distance. The carriage was under the cover of night, and the moonlight reflecting off the lake illuminated Hogwarts in an eerie silhouette.
"It looks... ominous." Lili commented after opening the shutters of one of the nearby windows. "Like a place you'd never want to go."
"It... certainly doesn't look how I'd expected. I must have jinxed it."
"It's all your fault... good job." Lili chirped, sending the other a playful smile.
This was going to be... interesting?
