Iain Stiùbhart-Kirkland
[break][attr="class","howeven"]Sorta Cool Professor
[attr="class","yuntext"]Teaching at Hogwarts for at least three or four years now, most of the older students know the particularities that he brought with him: Professor Kirkland likes to wear kilts, a lot, he doesn't like teaching class and potions from the book, and he's the oldest brother out of a motley crew of big browed fellows. He's a tad bit rough around the edges, but sometimes he means well. Sometimes.[break][break]
Friends. Most of Iain's friends are going to be the coworkers around Hogwarts, mainly because it's a rather strange to consider a student as a friend instead of well, a student. (Of course there) Fortunately for most of his coworkers, they didn't need to deal with a more hotheaded teenage version of himself to even attempt becoming friends with. Learning how to chill in the past couple of years in his adulthood, this task is now so much easier. He, as a friend, is always willing to help out another person even if he would complain about how troublesome the favor is. His jabs becoming only teases, with no will intention behind them whatsoever. He's not the hard-ass grump that a couple of the students see him as occasionally, but rather a very sociable fellow with a love for cats and literature.[break][break]
Enemies. Anyone who dares to mess with his family and friends, anyone would be considered as an enemy for Iain. His stepmother is definitely not excluded from this category after all. See, Iain is the kind of person to be somewhat impervious to anything aimed towards him -- lest it's a fist and not a word because Merlin knows how he's ready for a brawl -- but something aimed towards the people he knows? He literally becomes angry for them. Nowadays he wouldn't be so quick to pull out his wand in an argument, but don't ever count it out.[break][break]
Lovers. Iain's a romantic sod as cheesy and cliché things works just as well as original gestures. Of course, he doesn't live by his wild streak of flings, experimentation, and one-night stands anymore. He's definitely not actively seeking for a significant other in his life, but he also wouldn't turn down an opportunity for a date and getting to know the other person better if he sees it. The redhead is fine being in a relationship with either of the two sexes, but he does have a preference for men. Having a crazy stepmother didn't help with getting into more serious relationships with women.[break][break]
Other. Siblings and uh students go here. Cool. Though on that note, Iain is told to be one of the failures of the Kirkland Family. He is the disappointment, the failed heir, the kid that never lived up to the Kirkland's expectations. He's shunned by all except for perhaps his father and those who are in a similar position as him. He in turn, doesn't really have two shits on how they think of him.[break][break]
