[attr="class","profileboxscroll"]Friendly, cheerful, modest and curious. At a glance those would be people's first impression of her. She makes friends easily, and considers everyone in Durmstrang is one--unless you've wronged her in the past and she's still bitter about it. Can be enthusiastic about anything and everything, so her energy may seem endless.
But also at a glance, people wonder how she got accepted to Durmstrang, a school known for its strict rules and vigorous physical training, which is half a world away from her home. Nesia is laid back, relaxed, and does most of her homework near its deadline. Yet when she is motivated enough, Nesia can be diligent and hard-working. When she has set a goal to reach, she will do her best to achieve it. Especially when her family's happiness is at stake. She is very devoted to her mother, as a mother's blessings worth more than gold. Her death doesn't stop her from being Nesia's motivation.
Nesia loves to make friends and be surrounded by people; liked, admired, respected. Fame was one of the reasons why she joined Eldur Quidditch team. Nesia doesn't mind being gossiped as well, that means everyone knows her. She's famous! On the negative side, when no one is paying attention to her, she feels ignored and worthless. Loneliness is unbearable when she's so used with attention poured to her.
The girl knows not to brag openly and toning down praises while in turn it gives a positive impact on her image. Despite all the flings she had, Nesia never kissed any of them. She avoids physical contacts with men as it makes her uncomfortable. Brief contacts are fine. With her boyfriends, she only did holding hands and hugging.
While Nesia may be a ball of sunshine, she does have a shy side. It comes out whenever she's close to her crush. Even after fifteen boyfriends, Nesia is still shy around an attractive male. Her method of flirting is dropping hints to her crush then hopes he'd pick them up and make the first move. Confidence/self doubt HERE.
When it comes to romance... to be honest, she knows nothing about romance or love. Nesia's knowledge about them comes from the pile of cheesy muggle romance novels under her bed in Eldur dormitory. She thinks it's just doing cute things together, so most of her relationship was started purely because she wanted to go on cute dates and give cute gifts with a cute boyfriend. When the boyfriend is uninterested to these cute activities, Nesia immediately loses interest to him. And actually committing herself to one man terrifies her. What if she loses her freedom that way?
Energetic and active, Nesia loves physical activities. Especially flying because it's thrilling and she feels totally free. She dislikes rules, so she always look for loopholes to go around it. Rules are needed, she knows it, but when there's a loophole why not use it?
To be direct is often mistaken as rudeness, which is why Nesia is very adept at subtlety. She knows how to sugarcoat her words and explaining an idea without mentioning the idea itself. Although she can read between the lines, flirtings seem to fly over her head. Lately she can recognize them, though sometimes she chooses to feign ignorance. It's fun.
Nesia is a little perfectionist. She's always worried about her grades, whether a slightest mistake would turn her E's to A's. But she doesn't let her friends know. On the other hand, Nesia has a big trouble in accepting criticism because she takes it as a personal matter. Harsh critics would be ignored. It takes time to admit that the critic is true, and even then she hides it from its giver.
Nesia doesn't understand why people need to separate magic to "dark" and "not-dark". There's no need to ban it either, it comes in handy sometimes. Why ban it when it's useful? As her moral is rather grey, she also has no qualms in manipulating people to do her bidding. After all, that's the benefit of being admired, right? Still, she doesn't manipulate so often; only when she wants and needs it.
As she maintains her image as a proper young woman, Nesia tries not to show improper emotions around unfamiliar/formal situations. Yet this means she buries her anger, sadness, and other negative feelings inside. She only needs a little trigger to let loose her volatile rage. Because she can do wandless magic, objects around her suffer from her anger. Nesia knows this habit, hence when an argument escalates she quickly leave the scene to cool her head (maybe it's lucky she's in Durmstrang; she restrains herself from violating school rules).

history
[attr="class","profileboxscroll"]Nesia's family has been around at least for fifteen centuries, a pureblood clan who rose into power by offering service to muggle kings and thieves alike. They stayed in the shadows, making no effort to conceal their magic before the muggles. It's a world where magic was acceptable within the society, and many ambitious princes sought out powerful wizards and witches to aid them in their conquests in exchange for powerful positions. So great was their influence that one of the kings they served bestowed a name for them: Notonegoro. They who run the kingdom.
The clan's expertise are martial magic and wandless magic. They developed a combination of magic and martial arts, imbuing magical power to weapons and human bodies. Many weapons enhanced by their smiths owned by muggles, and often brought tragic results upon them. But then the age of kings declined and gunpowder conquered the islands one by one, the clan began to expand their family through marriages. As of today, they have added members of more than a hundred pureblood clans into their family tree; many of them are dwindling in numbers since muggles' technology are threatening their homes.
In modern-day Indonesia, the Notonegoro clan has established itself on top of Indonesian wizarding society. They no longer serve muggle rulers, instead they collect artifacts--weapons, magical clothes, documentation of old magical rites--and help to build sanctuary for magical beasts unknown to most wizards in the world. Its current matriarch, Widyatama, deems it's the time for the family to spread its wings outside the country.
Through her hands, the family has made alliances with foreign clans as far as Siberia. She prohibits her grandchildren to marry muggles or muggleborn wizards, as she believes their blood will be tainted and their offspring has a greater chance to be a squib. She ensures the grandchildren to study the family arts before they reach adolescence and sent to start an apprenticeship with renowned wizards and witches. She also has been exchanging letters to wizards in other continents, looking for a way to enroll her grandchildren abroad.
Nesia was born as the eldest of Widyatama's eldest, thus enjoying the privilege of being the oldest grandchild (within the core family). Once she could stand on her own feet, she was taught martial magic. The entire family mingles well with their muggle neighbors, who think of them as a family of orchard owners, art collectors and businessmen. So Nesia played with muggle children (under her mother's supervision), and became familiar with their culture. It is where her interest to muggle sports and pop culture stems from. At 4, her parents began to teach her English and few European languages apart from her siblings and cousins, all whom she always studied together with. She never asked why; Nesia had something to be bragged about and that was enough a reason. Her mother was a housewife, while her father worked as a pilot for a magical carpet company.
Being the first of the first came with privileges, but also responsibilities. Nesia had to accompany her grandmother in formal dinners and social events of the pureblood society, sometimes outside the country. She taught her manners and etiquette, yet she loathed it. Widya only expected the best from her, withholding back praises until she deems Nesia worth it. But when she did praise her, it came as cold and condescending. Widya molded her to be a model child, one who should be imitated by the others. Yet this treatment sowed a seed of rebellion in her heart.
Whenever a chance comes, Nesia rebelled. Widya prohibited her from climbing trees, and she did it. Widya told her not to talk while eating, and she did it. Widya scolded her for daydreaming, and she still did it. Nesia could get away with her rebellion just because she was a kid. No one takes her seriously. Even the usually strict Widya waved it away.
"After some years drilled with discipline you'll stop running around like those filthy muggles kids."
In a mix of confusion and disbelief, she replied, "but they are my friends." And instantly regretted it. When children are being scolded, they are not supposed to look at the adults' eye, let alone talking back. But the matriarch's reaction was something akin to rage. The next thing Nesia knew was a slap, a throbbing arm and her mother being summoned to see her mother-in-law.
Only years later Nesia found out that Widya had been 'purifying' the core family from muggle influences. Her mother took all the blame, and afterwards she was not allowed to see her daughter as often as usual. Nesia's language lessons were delivered by her uncles, and she only saw her mother during breakfast. She tried to talk to her, but she never earned any response.
At 9, Nesia spent most of her time shadowing Widya as she conducted business, sometimes making her tea or fetching newspaper for her. With a stricter supervision, Nesia couldn't do her rebellious acts anymore. But her will remained, waiting for a perfect chance.
And chance comes two years later in the form of a tall foreign wizard. He spoke of a school in foreign land, Durmstrang. As her home began to feel so unlike home for the girl, she was ecstatic to go.
But adjusting to Durmstrang wasn't as easy as she thought. First, because it was located near the north pole and sunlight was scarce. Second, she couldn't mingle--Nesia tried, but her peers were cold and didn't hesitate to bully. Third, Widya told her that she had been corresponding with some Durmstrang teachers long before she was born, and she expected Nesia kept her best behavior up lest she shamed the whole family. Even though she hadn't adjusted, Widya expected nothing but top grades from Nesia,
Her first year was miserable. The grades weren't bad simply because she had been drilled with first year lessons since she was nine. By her second year, she managed to open up to her classmates a little and studied better than last year. But when she went home for the summer, she was greeted by surprises.
Widya was sick and unable to leave the bed. Nesia's father, being her only son, resigned from the carpet company to handle family business. Her parents were divorced without even telling Nesia. It was from her father she found out that he had three older siblings from a different mother, and they were squibs. Which is why she never heard of them; traces of their existence had been erased from the house. Just like her mother.
At the start of her third year, Nesia began to exchange letters with her mother during her school months. She encouraged her to enjoy her school life, instead of studying all day long and lounging at the corner like a scared cat. When Eldur Quidditch team opened a recruitment test, she took the chance and applied as a Seeker. And she was accepted. With her newly found interest--as Quidditch and broom weren't as popular at home--Nesia made more friends from other houses. She also joined the Dueling Club (which she thought let students punch each other, but wand dueling wasn't that bad) and dated her first boyfriend. Whom she left in a week because said boy only wanted her to help him with is Potions homework. Three of her next boyfriends were similar. Out of embarrassment, Nesia never told her family about her dates. She'd get scolded anyway; Widya always told her that she had a match made for Nesia since she was little so she shouldn't waste her time doing cheesy romances.
But she wasn't in Durmstrang.
Soon Nesia was known for her short-lived relationships among her peers, but she doesn't really care. Students approached her every weekend, hoping to score a date with the seeker. The longest relationship she had was with Antonio in 5th Year, captain of Jord Quidditch team who had been her close friend/rival both in the field and in the dueling club. At first she thought that it'd be awkward to date him, since they were friends and Nesia dated his roommate Andries shortly beforehand (dumped because he was emotionally insensitive; still, he was one of the handsomest students). But Antonio was proven to be the best boyfriend she ever had--he was funny, lively and often returns her affection. After six months had passed they began to drift apart. Nesia knew she was started to really fall for him, so they ended it. Nevertheless they remained friends until the 7th Year.
By the end of 6th Year, a letter came bringing the news of her mother's death. She had been working with magical creatures preservation team since her divorce, a job widely known of its dangers because of the nature of the creatures and rampant illegal muggle hunters. Nesia had been talking to her through letters, telling her everything she went through in Durmstrang (except her flings). Her father had remarried and she wished she could just stay at Durmstrang during the summer.
Tired with how she lived her school life, Nesia resigned from the Quidditch team, saying exams as her reason. Then came the news about Triwizard Tournament, and she was elated to go. Maybe Nesia could enjoy one last excitement before she graduated soon...

[attr="class","profileboxscroll"]It’s amazing to see just how much and how fast a scrawny girl could eat in one sitting. Nesia held her tongue from launching remarks, yet she couldn’t help but observing with a smile. A happy face is enough a reason to be generous once in a while. The Ace could tell jealous stares from her guards, for this table was filled to the brim and could feed a family of seven. She would have to pay it later as bonuses once they were back in Spades.
Done with her cake, Nesia merely watched and refrained from touching any of the thief’s food. She babbled (with a full mouth), and that was enough to occupy her attention.
"No, ma'am. I sell flowers too.” Then the thief said she also made crowns and bracelets from the flowers she grew herself. Nesia wasn’t a big fan of flower crowns, but she liked to see flowers around, preferably still attached to their stems. Not that she had time to take care of her own garden, being one of the most powerful people in Spade after the King and Queen themselves. Her family’s orchard and the palace’s vast garden were enough to satisfy her wish.
"But sometimes stealin's just easier, ma'am. I'm better at it than sellin' flowers anyhow."
The woman nodded a little in acknowledgement. Stealing is wrong, but when the other option was only starvation, what choice did she have? She couldn’t tell her that she agreed, but only for one time thing. It’s better if she stayed selling flowers, or did other jobs. Less headache and paperwork too for anyone who was assigned to end thievery in Diamond capital.
Nesia signaled for a waitress to come and take away the empty plates. That’s when she realized other patrons had been stealing a glance towards their table. And when her eyes met theirs, they promptly looked away. This wasn’t a conversation for public ears, maybe she better end this quickly. “Please bag the leftovers for this little… ah, sorry I haven’t asked for your name.” Nesia finished her drink. “I get distracted easily by food,” she added with a sheepish grin. How could she forget? What a manner.
“Thank you, but I have a long journey home. I don’t think your flowers would survive until I reach home.” The Ace rose after paying their food and accepting a bag of leftovers from the waitress. “I’ll walk you out.” She offered her hand. Nesia might have been pretending to be a regular noblewoman, but her observation skills weren’t easily fooled. She had acquired them from interacting with her seniors and many people who doubted her ability in the Spades military. While the Ace had no ill intention towards her, it was clear that the thief was frightened. A rare display of kindness wouldn’t buy someone’s trust, especially when she had been living like rats.
So she smiled and asked cheerfully, “have you considered to apply for a job elsewhere?”
